Benjamin Sears is the founder of luxyoga, a yoga retreat and lifestyle experience in the South of France recently named one of the top five yoga retreats in the world. Benjamin has multiple certifications that support his dedication to yoga and is featured in the media for his inspiring views on the connection between living well and practicing yoga. His teaching is rooted in yoga therapy and in helping real people create a better experience of being alive through focused yoga practice. In this workshop, you will develop tools to practice like a great artist: rooted in skill and free to create. Investment is $40.

    The Big Sky School District is sponsoring a diverse line-up for free lectures during the off-season this October and November. MSU professor, Shane Doyle, a Crow Indian and founder of Native Nexus, a company that helps implement Indian Education for All in Montana. Doyle is a singer, drummer and Native American Studies teacher at MSU and a co-auther of the Nature paper about the genetic findings at the famours Montana Clovis Anzick archaeological site. All of the talks are free and open to the public.

    Harvey Mudd Professor, Arthur Benjamin is the creator of the television show Mathemagics. He is also featured on the Great Courses for his Mathemagics course, where he does complex computations in his head in seconds. Benjamin, who was educated at Carnegie Mellon and earned his doctorate in math at Johns Hopkins, is a dynamic math educator and will showcase and teach his methods in his talk on Friday, November 14.  All of the talks are free and open to the public.
