    North America's premier Freeride World Qualifier, the Subaru Freeride Series comes to Big Sky Resort March 25-30, 2015. The Subaru Freeride Series provides ski and snowboard athletes opportunities to earn Freeride World Tour points toward possibly becoming tour athletes for the following season.

    March is Brain Awareness Month. Every dollar raised will help grow the LoveYourBrain Foundation’s flagship yoga program, which enables traumatic brain injury survivors to participate in affordable yoga and meditation classes tailored to their needs. Together, we can shift the culture around TBI recovery to promote more holistic brain health.

    LoveYourBrain Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the quality of life for people affected by brain injury.     Comedian Lukas Seely will perform a comedy show and conduct a cooking demonstration at Big Sky’s Buck’s T-4 Lodge on March 31, 2015. Seely, from Los Angeles and a Billings native pairs his unique combination of comedy and compelling life stories with the culinary stylings of Chef/Owner Chuck Schommer and Executive Chef Scott Mechura. Lukas will also conduct a limited availability cooking demonstration featuring “Rodeo Ninja Noodles”; the dish he competed with in TNT and one of the evening’s courses.Cost is $65 per person, inclusinve of tax and gratuity. No-host bar and hors d'oeuvres at 6:00, dinner starts promptly at 6:30. Optional cooking class ($20 per person) starts in the Buck Ridge Room at 5:30. Call 406-995-4111 for ticket information.     Big Sky Resort hosts Keely Kelleher's Big Mountain Ski Camp for Girls on April 18-19, 2015. The camp is for girls ages 10 -17. Cost is $395 per person and includes video analysis helping girls gain visual perspective of their skiing strengths and weaknesses, avalanche awareness education, incredible gift bag from sponsors and prizes, opportunity to be coached by big mountain pros, Olympians, and ski racing champions. There will be a mini competition on the last day including prizes. The cost of the clinic does not include a lift ticket.
