    The Big Sky Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Big Sky Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center will reopen on Monday, December 1 at 8: 30 a.m.

5th Annual Big Sky Ski Education Foundation Turkey Trot - November 27

    Kick off your Thanksgiving by bringing the whole family out to Town Center's Fire Pit Park for the 5th Annual 5K and Kids Fun Run Turkey Trot. All proceeds benefit the Big Sky Ski Education Foundation's Alpine, Freeride and Nordic ski programs. Register online until 5pm the day before the race for $20 per runner. Same day registration and check-in opens at 7:45am and is $25 per runner.  The first 125 runners to register will receive T-shirts, ski buffs and other goodies. Plus lots of great prizes including one for best Turkey Day costume, cutest canine and stoller division. Run/walk starts at 9 a.m.

    Buck's T-4 will be serving a family style dinner Thanksgiving special from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A plated mixed green salad will be served followed by a Thanksgiving feast including a farm fresh Montana Hutterite turkey, classic stuffing, roasted garlic mashed Montana russet potatoes, giblet gravy, candied yams, brown sugar and pecans, cranberry orange relish, classic green beans and onions and fresh baked rolls. Dessert will be a choice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream, brandy pumpkin pie cinnamon crème fraiche, apple turnover with chai tea caramel.     Small Business Saturday was founded by American Express in 2010 to help businesses with their more pressing needs – getting more customers.  The day encourages people to shop at small businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.  This single day has grown into a powerful movement and more people are taking part than ever before.
     
    The Chamber is coordinating a “fun walk” between Town Center and Meadow Village at 10:00 a.m. on Small Business Saturday. Chamber members and residents alike can participate in the walk and take part in all the great Small Business Saturday deals. The Big Sky Chamber will also coordinate a shopping guide and promote it in email blasts and a press release to the local newspapers before the event, so shoppers will be aware of all the discounts before the event.

Big Sky Community Theater Presents "Almost Maine" - November 29

    Big Sky Community Theater is presenting "Almost Maine," a series of eight, interlocking love-themed vignettes set during a single winter evening in a small town in Maine. The production is planning for November 29, one show only, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center. At turns both comic and poignant, the play, written by John Cariani, has surpassed all the old standbys, from Our Town and Arsenic and Old Lace to Shakespeare, to become the most produced play in America. Big Sky Community Theatre is funded and supported by Big Sky School District Adult Education. Some of the material is less appropriate for young children. Tickets will be available at the door, but can be purchased ahead of time at warrenmillerpac.org.

18th Annual Madrigal Dinner - December 4

    Tickets for the Madrigal Dinner are on sale now and can be purchased for $55 per person, which includes a fantastic three-course dinner prepared by the chefs at Buck&#39;s, as well as festive music from the Montana State University Montanans, the MSU Brass Quintet and MSU Chorale. The evening begins with a no-host bar at 5 p.m., followed by seating for the dinner promptly at 6 p.m., in preparation for the Ceremonial Procession of the Lord and Lady of the Manor and their guests. Olde English customs are the themes throughout the evening, including fanfare introducing the Ceremonial Procession, the Wassail Bowl and Christmas Toast, the Boar's Head Procession and the Flaming Pudding Dessert. The MSU Montanans serenade guests throughout the evening and the MSU Chorale presents a concert finale. The dinner closes with the audience joining the musicians in singing familiar carols.
